Saul Bass

8 May 1920 – 25 April 1996

Bass was known as one of the best ever graphic designers for film in the 20th century. He created over 60 film title sequences, one of the most famous ones being Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. His titles were known to intrigue the audience as you could tell what was going to happen in a film due to his designed titles. His career was very successful, as he put his skills into storyboards, visual concepts and most importantly the title sequences in the 20th century.
